  1. Dr. Suzanne Ross says:

    It is the US government and its stooges in Haiti that forced the removal of President Aristide from the presidency and into exile so as to create a better climate for its political and economic interests. This outrage must be overturned and the Haitian people’s will honored.

  2. JACQUES ALEXANDRE says:

    I WOULD ADVISE HIM TO STAY IN S.A. FOR A WHILE.
    IT’S FOR HIS OWN SAFETY.

  3. Sylvio says:

    please wait after the election.Better for you and the country

  4. Ezili Dantò says:

    @Sylvio,

    Ever ask yourself why the only demon in Haiti you see is Aristide – the most popular leader of Haiti?

    Here, I’ll help you. Here’s my latest performance piece on Haiti – Seismic Shifts – http://bit.ly/ePqmLQ

  6. Jean Paul says:

    I would say that Titid should come back to Haiti as soon as possible in order to save the country from the clutches of an uneducated pro-Duvalierist thug like Sweet Mickey or the other pro-Duvalierist Manigat. The State Department wants either of these in office in order to reconstitute a craven Haitian Army whose sole mission would be to keep the people down so that they can be herded into sweatshops to put out cheap products for Walmart, Disney, etc.. all at the bargain rate of 3 bucks a day.

    • Michel Sanon says:

      No matter how right you may be, Jean Paul, this is not the time for name calling and other negative stuff which get us nowhere. We must focus on doing everything necessary to obtain positive results for the Haitian people and Aristide. Good intentions need positive action taken wisely to be fruitful. Let’s remember lessons from Madiba, and apply them.

      Peace and brotherhood

    I thank all of you for the support to President Jean-Bertrand Aristide and the people of Haiti. I ask you to continue demanding the return of Dr. Aristide in Haiti. Jamaica was the first territory in the world to cut off trade with apartheid South Africa – in 1958. We gave refuge to freedom-seekers, including the world-famous author, Peter Abrahams whose book, ‘Tell Freedom’, inspired the grassroots anti-racist movement. Hence Nelson Mandela’s first overseas visit to the little island with a big heart. We also welcomed our Haitian brothers and sisters fleeing Papa Doc’s regime. Our history curriculum featured the Haitian anti-slavery model. We pray that the USA and other powers may also soon see the error of the ways in denying entry to Brother Aristide, the people’s President.
